Tracing back to... pre-Tas

Left Adrian's place and stayed in Urban Central @Southbank. Was a really nice hostel! Washing machine, fully equipped kitchen, toilet, tv, bar, games room, reading room, etc. More info on www.urbancentral.com.au. My 1st batch of room mates: 3 girls 0.0, i wasnt told it was mixed shared! Anyway, nice people: Yuki from Jap who knew almost 0 english but was in Aus for more than 3 months and still goin! Elizabeth from Scotland whos looking for permanent job in Mel. Lastly, a girl who I never got to know nor see since she returned late at night and disappeared the next evening. Wish them all the best in their plans ahead!

Exploring around town was really easy after moving in to the city. Went to the DFO, Crowns casino and the exhibition centre on the first day followed by Queen Vic market and the Mel museum the next. Queen Vic was the cleanest, organized and welcoming wet market I've been to! Aside from harvests (Which were really fresh and cheap) and poultry (in a separate building), they have rows of stalls selling souvs, clothes and other random stuffs. Had fish and chips for lunch at the food hall while leeching on the wifi :) Mel museum was worth my visit because of this particular exhibition where they have a video showing the labour process (baby)! It's more of a sci centre + discovery centre, all in place, fun to spend half a day there.

Saturday full day to Great Ocean Road! And here I say: Whoever's still living and know what's a coastline MUST visit the GOR! The scenery is breathe-taking! 2 days road trip there would be much favored! it's worth revisiting! Anyway, my tour group members was great! With me coming alone, there're 3p from Philippines, 2 ladies and an old couple from Ireland and the HK sisters. I was the youngest hence all the attention and well-treatment :P The guide (damn, I forgot his name) was an awesome chap who can drive and tour-guide at the same time, the whole day! I v-comd him and never see him yawned or sighed even once. Great man! Got back to hostel late night and found a new roommate, names' Glen from UK and I learned that Yuki is leaving for Gold Coast, good for her that she found a jap travel buddy.

Met up with bro and his gf on Sunday at Queen Vic then her aunt drove us to the Essendon DFO. Bought a Ralph lauren polo @$39 and Rivers Jeans @$27! Big sale and thus temptation everywhere! End the day with a dinner with aunt, bro and his gf's aunt and her daughter. 2 more new room mates when I got back to the hostel, Aus kids who were in Mel for some work shadowing thing, Glen and I find them REALLY Irritating: talking about partying, drinking alone in the room and proud to be 'grown up'! Was expecting monday to be a tiring day and indeed it was! Had brunch with bro in the morning and brought them around the city, in search for the pizza shop that aunt mentioned. Broke off from them 2 and head towards St Kilda area, searching for ideas for souvenirs on the way. Farewell to Glen (He's got a campervan with his fren Tom and planning to jus wander off somwer, cheers!) As for myself, Tasmania! By sea!

Let's go to the City~~~!

After 3 days in Mel, pretty much settled in, except the urban life. It took me 3 days to understand the public transport, eating habits and weather. Visited Pakenham town on Fri to have lunch and do some shopping. A beautiful town that's busier than Garfield, shopping malls and cafes spread near the train station (and the furthest station with metro to the city). Love small towns like these, peaceful and quiet, with everything you need within 1km, they even have horseracing tracks! Here comes the highlight of the day: Was on the Vline back, that darn station crew led me on the wrong train! Since the time of departure matches, I didnt doubt her much. I felt something wrong when the train's not stopping after 15 mins (supposed timing) and it goes on till Dandenong! LoL, it's ehading to the city! Got off and on the other Vline train, it was 4pm and I didn't know if my ticket is valid for peak hours. Then came the owned2x, I actually missed my stop and end up in Longwarry! Here's the problem: they didn't announce the train station (which they did on my 1st ride) and nor do the doors open by themselves, thus I assumed the train stopped for some other reasons (changing tracks, etcs). Sucker... It was rather dark when I finally got off Garfield and walk the 2k plus back home.

Finally, Mel city here I come! Adrian dropped me off at Pakenham :) where I had my 1st metro ride to the city (thanks for his myki card as well). Was a long ride, about an hour 0.0, thats like JE to Changi. Got off at Flinders and visited Fed sq for the tourist info centre and idle around to watch the street perf. Great weather for a walk into the heart of the city. Marveled by the skyscrappers, shops and vehicles, this is the city I'm talking about! Took the "arcade and lanes" route based on a paper guide and finished almost a third of the city centre. Met gugu for dinner at box hill and visited Tzu chi @Melbourne. Most of the volunteers were of my age? some slightly older, uni students. The elders offered me to stay for veggie soup (which was incredibly delicious!) Had a quick chat with people and left for dinner (after being half-full). Gugu thought I would miss home food and brought me to a Malaysian restaurant with mostly... chinese cuisine, wasnt so bad, most chicken rice stalls should be ashamed of themselves when I can find an applaudable plate of chicken rise in a foreign land. Thanks aunt for the ride home, very long 1hour journey on the dark freeway.

Pretty much the same thing happened on Sunday with certain changes. I set off earlier and it was raining when I reached the city. Sat down watching the commuters go with some hot croissant and tea. There was some mother's day walk going on that day, in a rainy weather?I manged to book my GOR trip then off for another walk in the city. Hollan many times and the darn GPS wasn't working but still managed to find my way to the great State library where the famous La Trobe sat. Besides that its all asian muggers, as expected when you visit any library. The chinatown was quite boring, not much happening on a mother's day sunday. The rest of the evening was again with gugu for dinner (at an Italians) where we had a meaningful conversation over religion and philosopy. I got a free ride home again :P really thanked her for that.

I think I'm not gonna bother her again as it'd be taxing on her car petrol and time. Anyways, I lost quite alot of weight too, maybe because the body's going into hibernation mode and used the fats to keep the itself warm :) And the long walks... So far so good in Oz, just hate the cold dry air which gave my nose HELL.

Garfield Walk

The weather's getting chilly these days, it was great to be outdoors with even a faint of sunlight rays. As aunt put it, Melbourne skies always looked cloudy and gloomy at this time of the year but it just wont rain that easily.

Had a long long walk yesterday, 4 hours? 5-6km? Garfield was a nice and peceful town, all quiet, you can even trace a child's cry from the rows of beautiful houses. I visited the bakery for a meat pie and custard tart, $7.20! Of course it had to be tasty! Then went on to the convenience store to see what's on the shelves in this lonely town. I had a pleasant surprise when I got to know that the shopkeeper was from east timor? What are the chances (meeting a chinese or Singaporean is common in AUS) of meeting someone in a faraway place from home, who can converse in 3 different languages that I know of (aside from my family, relatives and some friends) Anyway, bought some Hot Chips (which are thicker & larger Fries) and left with a warmed heart. After walking around the small town for a while, making rounds and turns, deicided to head back from this recce trip. It began to drizzle on the way home and yes I was shivering in the cold until a white lab caught my attention. It just hopped out of one of the bushes and looked at me before darting towards the direction I was heading. Maybe it just wanted to play? (hide & seek) And so it "led" me all the way back to the farm and left after awhile, nice townfolks even the animals were so eager to take you around (I just named the dog Garfield :P).

Very exhausted after the walk, msg'd Adrian about me skipping dinner and off to sleep (its abt 4pm?) Fairly good day of exploration with many things happened, would be better without the rain. Earlier that day, I was mowing grass and doing some simple chores (replacing rat poison and unloading some stuff). Hence I was drained and managed to Zzz in seconds.

Decided to take a break for today, doing some simple household chores and do reasearch on my plans for the next few days. Weekends are coming and I want to visit the main attractions of Melbourne city! Plus, mother's day's coming and I do not want Adrian to fret over entertaining me over mother's day celebration.

Welcome To Melbourne!

Woohoo! Finally! Mel Aus! Touched down 2nd May morning and had a n extremely tiring day because of a couple of reasons.

Spent some time in the airport, around the tourist info booth and finding phone booths to call my aunt (none worked as they don't accept coins, wth right?). End up just skybusing to town and figure out something. Took a walk along Flinders st all the way to Federation sq... with all my luggage (reason) then hop onto the free city tram for 1.5 rounds. Bused to this place called The Pines shopping centre to meet up with aunt to have lunch. After which she drove (thank God!) me around: her house and work place. Lastly to Adrian's house which we took some time to figure out even with the GPS that aunt just bought. It was a vast and beautiful place with some cattles and other animal resisdents (a goat, swallows, wild chickens and spiders). Had a guided tour around the house (including details like where are the spoons and food storage). Had a quick and simple dinner while chatting till lights out. I was exhausted and dozed off after seconds! Did nothing much? Let's trace back abit...

I was on the Emirates flight to Mel the night before where I met this girl, Sam from London who is a lne backpacker and... had a kind of phobia? Don't know if phobia is the word to use but she had horrible past experience flying hence the trauma? Anyway, she sat up all straight, grabbing the front seat and had teary eyes. I can't help but notice her trembling hands holding on to her inhaler while constantly looking around. Even during mid flight terbulance, she would stop whatever she's doing and do mindless clicking on the screen (with shaking hands). We had a chat after she'd calmed down and it surprised me that she's been travelling since Dec 10. Travelling as in no going home, tourist in several countries since DEC 10, thats 5 months with an average of 1 flight trip per months? Given her condition, Respect! Her reason for goin on: meeting strangers and fellow backpackers. I do have to admit I was very nervous about the trip until I met her. I guess this was arranged to motivate myself to "enjoy"my trip. And so.. I end up not having any sleep which brings me back to my first night in Mel. Knock out after staying awake for ~48hours.

Adrian left for work before I woke up this morning. Had some cereals and off to work. Even though its quite chilly in the morning (esp in the suburbs), it becomes a perfect combi when you get yourself under the sun. Raked up the dried leaves, sccop some dung and some cleaning and dumping. Was quite relaxing and I get to plan my day flexibly. Tried to tame the cattles but failed. They weren't shy or afraid of me considering it's my first time with them, almost touched 1 of the cattles but she startled when I opened my palm. It was pretty cool to have them approach me while I just sit there fiddling with my phone.

Awesome days to come I hope, plan to spend the weekends out... erh no, I haven't done any planning, waiting for people to invite me for trips! hah!

Experiencing the land of thousand smiles: Part 3

Call me simple minded or anything, I ALWAYS thought that Bangkok iz another city like Jakarta and KL, warm, humid and dusty. However, thats a nono! The temp is arnd 16~20+ degrees C wen we were ther. Dusty iz kinda true coz of the zomg traffic jams. I dun tink i got sweat much that 3 days.

Day 6
Continueing from Day 5, arrived at BKK airport at 12am+. No choice have to sleep in airport. Found a nice corner with 3 rows of benches (no cushion), mp3s out, heads on bag and Zzz. Initially, managed to go into the 'sleep' state budden it starts to get freakin cold. Regretted nv wear jeans, shoes and brought any blanket. Roge and smurf cant slp at all so they went to explore the airport, finding ways to keep warm (Like beer, hot instant zok and stepping outdoors which wz suprisingly makes things worst). I joined them after several attempts to find the perfect posture to slp on the cold, hard bench. Changed to shoes and had 1 of the best cup noodles in my life! Black Pepper PORK!!! Thats damn rare in SG! Combd the whole arrival hall, looking for wad to eat for bfast... actually oso got other pple really sleeping in the airport and the diff between em n us iz they've brought pillows n blanket! We passed our time walking around pushing the trolley and yes... its 7+ le. Simple bfast... redbull n pocky LOL. I manged to 'auto' slp for an hour or so till 8am coz too tired. Transfer came n brought us to the hotel.

Bangkok... city of dirt cheap clothes and food. For real, we shopped for 3 days, nv visit the temples or chinatown (in the initial plan). Mostly for clothes, clothes and more clothes. After checking in, changed and go gai gai near the downtown area, its thiz famous area wer MBK, Siam sq, Siam center, Siam discovery stood. MBK iz holy shyt big, loads of stuff, gadgets, clothes and food!
Lunch at this cheena restaurant, had noodles, rice and cheap dim sum so arnd $5+ each!woohoo! Every1 very tired coz of insufficient slp and so decide to nap till nite then go out again.

Famous nite market... Suan Lum nite bazaar! 2nd to Chatuchak weekend market, many many stalls and a huge food center. Fried rice n fruit shake again for dinner, their fruit shakes ownes coz its cheap n oishii. No joke, the place is really big, finished 1 area in 40 mins+ wen there were like 10+ zones? I got my new adidas wallet for a cheap 100B lawl, the lady even use a ligther to burn the leather wallet to prove that its 'genuine'! The rest got some berms, shirt and random stuff. Oh, roge got his beloved magic pants there, i got 1 for myself too :)

Day 7
Every1s gettin sluggish... Zzz for more than 8hrs, waking up betwn 9 to 10am, it cant be the hotel bed. Anywae, our plan for the day iz platinum and pratunam plaza/center and other malls near that area. Cab again coz its hell cheap, arnd 70B even wen theres traffic jam. Tink the 1st mall waz platinum center? Its kinda empty... mayb we're too early. Hopd over to the next building wer the spree starts. Theres this market place with lots of clothes, local brand and designs. More like an outlet wer they sew and do final touchups there b4 selling/ importing in bulks. Usually they'd sell 3 or more at cheaper prices. Got me army pantsu there yeah.

Visited another 'market place', abit high class, inside a buidling but got many stalls, 7 storeys. Top floor waz a food court wer the foodz damn cheap for such a nice ambience. Unfortunately shawn wz feeling sick so he missed lots of imba dishes and the shoppin. Last shoppin destination wz Platinum, tis is a must-go, must-not-miss, no-go-you-regret place. We got most of our gifts and clothings ere. Comd the building from the 3rd floor up then back down, taking arnd 2-3 hrs. Got tis shop selling all the famous chang beer, coke singlets n Ts at imba low price. The boss wz an old lady who knows how to speak mandarin (mayb coz shes from ChiangMai? where most thai-nese live). Bought lots of shirt from her and got her name card, jus in case, mayb some dae, import n sell :P Oso lots of those shops selling locally designd Ts, some were nice, most were shyt, but who cares, they're quite cheap.

Shopd till 4+ and got damn tired le, decided to cab back hotel to rest and prepare for night activity. Dinner at a coffee shop near our hotel, had pork-organ meal at arnd 40B !!! Nite activity waz... dun wanna describe, its totally fukd up. B4 tucking in, got many food stuff from the MBK supermart, chuk and 10B red bulls lol, green curry and tom yam kung paste for mum.

Day 8
Last day in Thai le, IOW shopping! Went to MBK to look for gifts, sports Ts but unfortunately they're quite ex (still abit cheaper than in sg) Its a last minute decision to chiong back Platinum mall to do shoppind. Rush hour indeed, cabd thru the Tjam and chiong up the mall, trying to recall wer were the shops we saw the day b4. I tink i bought arnd 16 T-shirts? most for frens n family, only 4 for myself, not counting those for the bball dudes which were with smurf n roge. Its like amazing race, chiong here n there, shuffle thru the clothe hangers for nice Ts. In a nutshell, last day is for shopping and nth else, i tink we skipped lunch too.

Got to airport at arnd 2+ and makan 1st at this funny jap fastfood b4 checking in. we're trying to spam finish Baht in our possession b4 we zhaod back to SG so stop by at family mart to buy random food stuff. Damn funny during the baggage check, smurf almost got ownd by the officer, he wz carry 3 100ml bottles of redbull, the officer took it out n smiled which makes smurf kinda freakd. Then he took out another, then the last. Smurf abit panic n point at the bottle saying its 100ml. In the end the officer jus took out a zip-loc n stuffd em all inside. Jus wen he thought his precious 10B red bull gonna get chong-gongd lol.

3hrs plane back to SG, reached at arnd nite time le. This time no french dudes, got more pple though. Roge parents came to pick us up, b4 that we kinda sort out our stash at T1 arrival hall. Every1 staring at our heaps of clothes n food lol. Thai trip ended, safe, one piece!

Phiphi island iz jus a distance away from the main 'phuket island'... 3hrs journey by sea cruiser. We joined a 'tour' intro'd by Rambo to phiphi island, cost around 1600B each person... EX indeed, can buy like 10 T-shirts lol. The trip includes boat ride on a luxury VIP cruise (fkin bullshit), lunch in phiphi island hotel, snorkeling and fish aquarium viewing.

Its very very early in the morning, rushed packing coz we decided to spend the nite on phiphi island and come back to Beachhouse only on the following nite. Left the large luggages in the hotel, brought a hand carry each with 2 sets of clothings. Same old shyt, shawn woke up damn early to stone in the toilet, can up to 45mins lawl! So I've to wake up even earlier than him, wear contacts and bathe. The pickup van came at around 7, we chiongd bfast coz very paiseh got other pple on the van waiting. Board the PHIPHI CRUISER at a port in Phuket Bay, 40km from phiphi island.

Got on the boat quite late le, top 'sunbatheing' deck fully occupied, other places oso lots of pple, onli got the indoor airconditiond room empty. After some time playing games indoor, got out to 'get' some sea breeze and water, at the 2nd level side decks. Every 30mins or so, got 1 speed boat passing by -.- sian diao, they chiong so fast and not very packed oso, dun mind if its a little more ex. Passed by several 'scenic' places, the boat slowd to let every1 take pics. Next stop iz a 'temporary' sea port (formde by a large boat) near this island. 1st went to this small aquarium to feed fishes. Its like a room, half dipped into the sea. Can stand in the pool, fishes would come in through the cages (very difficult to illustrate lol) Anywae, we're given bread to feed these little fishes swimming around our legs, cant manage to catch any, once your fingers dip inside, many come swarming to nimble on ur fingers -.-... We met a bunch of french guys, 7 of em, freaking noisy (more abt them later) After that went for snorkeling just beside the port. Water damn dirty... coral reefs not very gorgeous either. Gulp in a mouth of sea water, eyes and nose tio seawater due to the crap equipments that they provide. Feeling sucks, as though got a lots of super concentrated salt pile in your throat.

After like 30mins, reached phiphi island, went straight to the hotel restaurant to lunch. Got tom yam kung, some seafood, fried chicken and vegs, average ba... i waz thinking of buffet lunch since we payd so much for the package. 8 pple on our table, 1 angmor and his thai wife (wtf is with this angmors???) an angmor couple and 4 of us... eat 10 pple share :) Went to search for a place to stay after makan or else have to Zzz on beach or port le. Walk along the beaches, east to west of Phiphi Don. Got few 2 bed-room-chalet/resort type de, but its freaking small and creepy, price quite cheap but difference between aircon and fan is almost 2 times. Almost decide on 1 le but smth tells us to go explore somemore... bringing us to this other beach (Loh Dalam) wich is super happening lo! Angmornized, OBVIOUSLY... got many activities like banana boat and canoeing. And thers a freaking great hostel nearby... they happen to have 1 large room left, for family de. The pool is omg la, got bar, beachviewpoint... jus that the toilet is shared de... All for 1600B per nite!

Unpackd--->strip top--->suntan lotion--->chiong beach! Went to book the Phiphi leh boat trip with some sea gypsies then rent 2 canoes out to sea. Its low tide wen we set off, have to carry the canoe for some distance b4 rowing. Total distance abt 10-15km, out to the sea, mainly along the coasts. Me n shawn then... smurf n roge. Went to this huge rock where there were lots of crabs, oso saw jellyfish eggs and countless sea urchins nearer to the shore... Once capsized we're freakin screwd. After like 2 hrs, damn tired and thirsty le, lots of salt forming on our body, felt dry and cold. Waves were abit bigger and rough further from the coast...time for speeding osh! Stopped by at the crappy monkey beach b4 rowing back to wer we came from... its high tide then.

Had dinner at this 222B buffet restaurant. U can pick seafood and kebabs, they'll bbq for u. Oso got sushi and salad bar. The sashimi abit nan chi... roge told me to jus buang it or tio food poisoning. Only the salad, seafood and kebab worth the 222B. Buy some stuff from minimart and went to hotel pool to chill. The hotel really bwg, view gd, can get free show, some fire juggling/ breather from nearby restaurant. Room oso got damn nice balcony to slack and drink roges' instant goatkum mix lol! something to jiang huo.

Day 4

2nd day on phiphi, most of the time out at sea. We got an early reservation for boat tour with the sea gypsies. He took us to some of the more famous places like Maya Bay, Loh Samah Bay and Viking Cave (dun tink we got go james bond island). Stopped at Maya bay de beach for quite some time to explore. Got campsite there, same thing, angmornized. Went nearby to snorkle... its so much better than the place we 1st dipd. Waters' more clear, got more 'life' on the sea bed and more visible fishes. The nex snorkeling pt even more cool lool, got millions of sea cucumbers and colorful fishes... spotted a rare jelly fish, wz totally stunnd, look arnd for any of em b4 swimming away to tell the rest. Long boat ride wz damn fun, the kaizokuking (bow) seat is da best place sit for a longboat ride (no wonder luffy make that his captain seat!)... Like roller coaster, sway extreme left and rights... esp wen the waves very strong, can lift ur ass up. WOO!

Back to land after 3 hours, noon le and the beach sibei happening... got pple go for para sailing, banana boat and topless sunbatheing 0.0! Confirm angmor la! After packing, batheing and checkin out, lunch at a restaurant and walked arnd b4 boarding the ship back to phuket island. Got on the ship 1st and chop the top deck seats... front somemore. We look like retards sun batheing on the deck wen the ship wz still dockd. Total time under the sun till we reach is more than 3hrs... but i felt nth lool, json tio sun burnt on his stomach n arms (Some1 pls look out if i'm abit more tanned wen u see me :)) Btw we were on the same boat as those french guys again!

Reach phuket at abt 5 to 6+ le. Decided to go phuket town nite market explore. The taxi driver is DAMN imba! Totally crazy taxi, downslope still accelerate somemore, turning oso dun need brake de... checked his meter to see how fast he drive... guess wad, 0km/h!, its freakin spoiled! TP catch him le oso bwg lol. The nite market is confirm 'go le no regret' things and food... all nice and cheap! Combd the streets for a big haul, shirts and random items. Food wz imba, roge kept saying they got some secret sauce wen its obviously magi soy sauce. Sat and eat lotsa shyt and even dabao back to hotel. 1st time eating crickets, taste like... seaweed, grass with salt, pepper and some sauce lol. Actually wanna eat other insects, they got grasshopper, grubs, earthworms, cocoons and i tink its scorpion? Among the grasshopper pile still got 1 alive and moving gently 0.0! Got the same driver to drive us back... same old shyt la, 'hey hey hey, its time to make some crazy money, are you ready? here we go!' Spd on his speedmeterless taxi.

Back to hotel to eat, slack and bathe. Finally, i learnt how to play bridge :) play till 2+ then slp.

Day 5
Diz is a real short day coz we decided to wake up late since theres' not much of a programme. 10+ woke up and wash up jus in time b4 bfast ended @ arnd 11. Packed, leave luggage with hotel and go gaigai. walked for the whole noon at Jungceylon and i tink we skipped lunch, had some real nice icecream at cheap price. After leaving the mall, roge n shawn wen for massage, coz they felt like it. Me n smurf wanna go surf net but after like 30mins of searching, still dun have until we got to this shop located down an alley near patong beach.

Heard from Roge, the massage wz a real cool expirience. Coz got x-men do the massage, both of em tio x-men and they dun look xd until they admit it themselves. They (X-men) talkd abt the operation being hell expensive, simmi breast implanting, kachia diao the **** and removin adams' apple lol... Oh, then there wz this pair of damn horny Aussie beside em. They kept saying wanna see the x-men nips (he said 'i head lady boy's nips are very small and out of shape' LOL). Then they wanted happy ending massage service with real babes... the mamasan said its arnd 2000B, the Aussie somehow agreed and gonna pick 1 of em up at nite. Wad an ass, pray he nv tio HIV, or a x-men.

Leavin Phuket that nite for Bangkok. Got to airport early and slack arnd. Playd cards and tok kok at the really small airport. Damn imba, wen we got to the boarding gate... its those French dudes again!!! LOL? So qiao lo. They are so fked up lol. Each person (got 7 of em) took up a window seat each. So its like em taking 7 rows of 3 seater seats... and they act totally stranger to each other and dun care abt those family, groups or couples... ASSHOLES LOL! Thats all for phuket, to be continued... Day 6 wen we were in BKK airspace.

Year 2009, 7th Jan... me, smurf(json), king(shawn) and roge(terry from xiaohaibuben) went to Thailand for the so called backpacking trip when its actually a holidae lol:)
There were basically 3 parts to the trip, Phuket(Patong), Phuket(Phiphi) and Bangkok
I'll try to log 1 part per day... and hopefully upload pics soon (some with me, some with shawn) Before starting, some info...

Day 1

Streets of Patong

We met up at smurfs' hse in the morning to recheck everything and do last minute packing... Upload and synchro psp/nds games. Plane is arnd 1+ if im not wrong, so we touched down at phuket at arnd 2 to 3pm. Air Asia is not that bad, service is gd, its clean and on time... The landing wz quite smooth too.

We met our guide (supposed to fetch us de)... a guy named udom aka Rambo. He said he was once a muaythai boxer nicknamed Rambo... quit for a couple of years, married with a child and now a tour guide. Skinny and friendly person, brought us around to some 'land tour destinations'. 1st was some gem factory wer he said jus go there hav the free drink... then oso some retarded place to have seafood wen it wz actually 'dried seafood' (dried cuttle fish, fish floss and stuffs)... knn tio scammed. He also prepare some programmes for us, the phi phi cruise on the 3rd dae and ATV the next day... Actually got 7 land activities but we chose onli 1. There wz horse riding (boring), ATV (nv try b4), elephant ride (total scam), Bungee (no $$, 2000B per jump!), Shooting with real guns (we expect it to be cheaper in phiphi so nv go), Paintball (play b4 le and its quite ex), GO kart (go genting oso can play lol)...

Hotel at Phuket, Patong iz called Beach House Hotel, very cosy, very comfy, service is 4star. Dun have the habit of taking pics of hotel room so jus go on9 to find how it looks like. Sadly, its at Patong, famous for many many angmors, like almost 90% of the population in this area. This means bad news coz everything de price sky high lol. Go gaigai after unpacking and changing near the town area.Roge kept buying coconut wich is arnd 30B for the small 1 and 40B for the large 1, its like his remedy for his 'i think im ill' syndrome. Explore the streets, got lots of locals and wth... indians, selling goods ranging from shirts, pirated dvds, food and blingblings. Oso got freaking lots of food vendors and massage shops. Theres this road called Bangla road closed to vehicles and opened for pedestrians. Full of angmohs, bars, shops and x-men.

Had a ripped off dinner at a restaurant called Linda's Restaurant. The owner is a thai named Linda(Duh) married to a Swedish guy who oso owned a bar at Bangla road (We tried locating it after dinner but failed). Had Padthai, a thai style fried noodle meat of ur choice to go with it, Cant sae if its worth the money then till we had more padthai the nex few days. Meal iz arnd 200B including Drinks, quite Ex, coz the area is angmornized. Visited Jungceylon, a angmornized Giant mall, got lots of inflated shit. Smurf waz half naked that time and tot he cant enter the mall, the security guard saluted as we walked in and... we saw quite a few angmor oso topless walking anrd (No topless females la!) Walk somemore b4 goin to tis supermarket near our hotel. Got some chips and beer. Beer was ZOMGingly cheeeeeeeaaaaaapppp lawl! 32-50B!!! In short everyting oso Cheap dao... There waz tis instant porridge wich rox lol. Got pork and chicken flavored de chok. Sleaze at hotel's very mini pool with chips n beer. On the way back wuz fkin funny, smurf got pinched at the arm by some massage lady (mayb a x-men) and roge tio Hug LAWL!!! Me n shawn jus siam asap to avoid the toutin zone. Got my shades for a shit price, damn, should bargain for lower...

1st day with planned activities. Bfast at hotel, simple american style, scrambled egg, bacon, toast and tea. Rambo came to pick us up with a Sedan car, not sure if he willingly wanna bring us around or mayb got commision de. 1st station, viewing pt to see some of the 'best' sceneries of phuket. Then ATV (All terrain Vehicle). Most high part iz wen we chiong at the max spd. This iz how it goes... Roge wz right behind the leading guide, then shawn then moi, smurf last. On any straight track, shawn wd jus stop for awhile so theres a distance between him n roge then jus turn the handle (accelerator) all the way down to full spd. Sibei HIGH wen u speed up, esp upslope. Smurfs' buggy got some prob or issit he duno how to drive, ended up very behind us in the midst of the plains track. ATV iz abit like real car, the turning part very challenging, cannot gostunt, onli straight, plus we were cruising on bumpy tracks.

We requested to go to the local mall to have lunch, cheap and gd. So its food court at this mall where locals hang out, got few angmors though. Unbelievable, one meal cost me less than a plate of chicken rice in pj... tats like <$2 lawl! one meal means food n drink n dessert fyi. Oso chiong the supermarket again for drinks and chips. Red bull is ffffffrrrrreakin cheeeeep, 10B LOL!!! 40cents? Sg sells arnd a dollar! After supermarketing, went to massage for around 2hr+. Tis massage no funny business de, dun have happy ending or wadsoeva (u noe wad i mean). The masseuse wz really a pro lol... Slept for the 1st hour then later wen comin to the upper body part, too pain to sleep. Here crack and there twist, pain but damn shiok after the whole session. Served with a great warm tea and got a transfer back to our hotel. Another walk at Patong beach, Roge and his coconuts once more. We watched some indian lady do para sailing and a grp of angmors playing banana boat. Parasailing wz imba coz got 1 guide follow the lady up the sky (equipmentless) and took control of the whole flight and landing (pressing the chute with his weight). Dinner was at a seafood restaurant, I waz too sian to get high abt seafood coz of stomachache. DAMNIT! Anything but stomachache! spoils everything. Went to 3 different places to take a dump. A Korean mall, the restaurant and Jungceylon. Still enojoyed the pineapple fried rice and banana shake. We got served by a damn holy gay ass. Then also got X-men wait-eress who talked to us. Roge got his king prawn (much bigger than a handphone) for a astronomical price. Smurf wasnt too happy with his. Thats all for day 2, we got back to hotel and Zzz early coz of an early boat to catch the next day.

Day 0
Arrived at KL midnite, took the $50 grassland bus, got tv, business class seat (leg stretched out while seating oso nv touch the front lool)The songs sukd and movies quite old de. The driver can fark off... stupid ahne, tell him so many times i stopping at Serdang, he happily and SLOWLY drove past that rest house -.-. Bo bian i alight at the interchange wif zengjie where yujie and feifei come pick us, thanks! Bathe and Zzz at 5shu hse.

Day 1
Depart to leehoms' place in the morning, by LRT. Nice experience, coz the train abit diff from wad u see in sg... abit less cramped, more fast... but the door damn noisy. As though it acts to wake those who dozed off when it shuts/opens. Leehom picked me up at the station then go makan at his hse. Then... set off for Afamosa of course, traffic jam, we arrived abit late liaoz, the rest of the pple chiong all the 'nice' games le. Practically theres nth, and the infrastructure is saii! Out of nowhere, bare-land, a spot in the vast fields, theres tis temporary hall where all the game stations are. Theres archery, Go kart, Paintball range (war games at somewer else), horse riding, etc. But... why all these cramped around the 'hut', its fkin hot and dusty.

After several shots, the adults tried too... zhao to see the villa! Yes... villa, thats the best thing in this trip. Theres a private pool in each unit, 3 rooms and total of 2 toilets. Living room and dining area bigger than homes' lol. When ten-pu-tong went into the pool, some of us got itched to jus jump inside. Darn ian kor go n do some tsunami simulation, wad resonance nonsense, shouldn't have suggested to him... the pool water almost 1/10 gone. Arnd 5+, sian of pool le, went to bathe and makan. Wth sia, the pool water abit weird, those who went to dip can feel this burning feel even after batheing budden hor... our skin is uber smooth! macam got flour on fingertips.

Nasi Lemak for dinner and off to cowboy town. Duno for wad retarded reason, got many people come, which eventually attracted some of us to go in as well. Tix were arnd RM35 (lucky got bring ic, cheaper) Bro, leijie, chuin, yongjie, hweejie and youyou were inside since 7+. Me, leehom, yige and cyan joined after that. So that makes 10 of us tio scammed into tis crappy place.The onli nice ting inside is the parade bah. Which wer we spend most of the time at (almost 2 hrs+) They kept using the same staff/cast/performers, change abit here and there. 1st got some Red indian show, fire juggler/breather/eater... the mcee suk big time, wen he go "are u happy"... then the audience go "... ... ... " Reason: he mumbles, speak some alien accent which can be understood after multiple repitation. The most fun part abt this red indian show is youyou tio saboed by us to go up to the front to perform lol... Gd ting is, she quite steady la, unlike others who go there laugh laugh onli. She had to do some retarded chicken dance lol and howl/wadeva u call it like a red indian. Duno she happy or sian, tio saboed to go up, nv tio shoot by her after that, so should b happy bah.

Next item is the real parade... lets see, got a weird combination of animals: chickens runnning out (WTH?), camel, elephant humping show lol, birds, chimp, tiger, lion, snake, orangutan, dogs(0.0), parrots, horses, etc (forgot)... The carriages/ hua che was real bad, lousy decorations. The nicest part is the cowboy part... got few 'robbers' dashing out on horse, than some sheriff chase after em on hosrse oso. Everything happened damn fast and they wez shooting empty rounds. The rest were dressed up goons parading and they kept repeating sia... why cant they repeat the cowboy 1 lol, to me thats the best part. We're quite lucky can get upclose shows coz bro waz sitting at the front and taking pics with his slr wif a fkinbig lense, so many performers stop infront of him to get pics taken (small digital cams can screw off!)

After parade, got fireworks, Sweet! Then we go walk walk arnd the mini park, really nth after like 2 rounds arnd the meeting pt square so we go play bowling. Woohoo, the bowling is pawnage lool... 1stly, the balls so rough and dirty, The holes were dented/chipped... 2ndly, the computer can go junk yard le. I go gutter, then record strike... Strike become 0... If not, 1 time can throw 4 times, the alley and detect any falling pins. End up some of our scores quite high and some damn shyt. Thats abt all at Cowboy town. Got this gay dance thats dwelling in me our mind sia (its performed by a few akuas in santa/ cowboy costume, with xmas carols as bckgrnd music) When we got back to the villa, the adults all Zzz le, we (me, hom, you, cyan and yige) makan some leftovers + cup noodles and talk kok till like 4am then Zzz.

Day 2
Went water park with yuinjie, you, hom, yige and cyan. Not as great as we expected coz some slides down for renovation. We also gave those slides requiring tubes a miss coz we forgot take out $$ from locker to go rent. Wack the 5storey slides many times, got the covered de and open de. The covered 1 is... really dark wen u were inside the slide, sheng shou bu jian 5 zhi! The open de can be quite scary coz at times u felt that ur goin off 'track'. Played both until sian le then go chiong the real extreme 1. Yuijie call it the signature slide coz its on the ads. No joke, its damn high, i even miscount the flight of steps taken to go up, all i noe is reach the top damn tired le, arnd 8 stories i tink. At the top need to queue up, i'd sae its really worth it. Lets describe the slide in a simple dramatic illustration.
1. Guard says go, Off me go!
2. I waz thinking to meself " wah, quite slow, not so scary afterall"
3. suddenly, got one bright bright 'hole' in front, n me iz sliding towards it.
4. WTF!!! PLLLLLLUNNGGGGGGEEEDDDDD
5. If memory serves rite, i wz definately in mid air, and butt land after 2.5 secs on this super inclined slide. around 75degs from horizontal.
6. Pawned! I forgot to scream sia, freakd out for that 2 secs... After that its like f-1, stopped at the 'pit', splashing water, reminds me of norbit lol, out of track.

1 conclusion... I'd never never never visit Afamosa ever ever ever again. Mayb for curious jackasses can visit once and i mean onli ONCE... u'll know how i felt after the 2 days.
Went town to get lunch (those who nv go park haven eat), damn coincidence, we saw ahbing! Lol! At Meleka? With his new gf? Msia not small sia, but can meet him there, same town, walking past our cars. We went to this ulu coffee shop to makan, the towkay like quite shocked as though his shop 1st time so many pple. The horde of us occupied all the seats in his shop le.I ordered the 'dong gan bing' (super touching ice) out of curiosity... -.- its some sour plum, jelly, ice and lime juice... Scammed!

Got back to pagoh and slack for the nex 3 days. I jus realised im a gd storyteller or... liar lol. What happened wz... In the afternoon damn hot, so i jus slopped at the 2nd storey, listening to music n psping. Ten alwez come bug me, bo bian but to entertain her. She started telling me the lion king story so i oso tell her some crap stories... all made up sia! Seriously, jus start with a ny subject that comes to mind then jus continue, linking to any bullshit i can tink on the spot. Lucky she believe coz its full of loopholes and by the time she ask 'shushu, y like... neh?' alrdy prepare ans le :P

Weds depart for sg le. Stay in pagoh countdown oso quite meaningless since alot zhao liao. Had lunch at the organic farm near airhitam. Freakin large piece of land, famous for its dragonfruit. If its me... confirm built themepark liao, with all the insane rides :) Ate the black pepper chic rice wich tasted like fried rice with oily chicken chunks... The dragonfruit juice waz nice though.

Love family outings total got arnd 8 cars lol... 30+ pple went. Last year was with mum's side de couzes at indonesia (lampung)... tis year at msia :)
Even though Afamosa sux, we went as a large grp, grumbled as a grp and had fun together. The more the merrier ...OSH!!!

Xmas party - An invitation from Jia Han aka "Samuel"

've always got tis misconception that churches and christians are like... the western/angmor ting... duno why, even though i got some chinese, indonesian frens who are christians. Anywaes, it was an awesome day spent at Sam's church... or should i say JiaHan. (To be explained in awhile)

Invited to this "xmas party" at the Batok church... Its kinda weird for me coz the cell grp is... Chinese Speaking! In fact almost everythins' in chinese! Lets imagine this, the stuffs we do, every programme on the list, its all chinese vers lol!

Ok, 1st we had some sing along sessions, xmas songs, not gospel or... Then we listened to a very short speech by a guy from the cell grp. Next up is a skit put up by the members. Rmb... everything is in chinese, even xmas songs! Come the last hour is a speech by this self proclaimed uncle then some games and gift exchange. Got a candle holder nya... attached to a frosted/painted glass.

Lastly, refreshments, managed to chat with some of the cell grp members, came to know tis guy whos currently studying last year at Med sch, last 3 months b4 graduation, great guy, OCS somemore... social-able and knowledgable. He shared his exp in the ns with me n ben... also some med stuff. The grp's 'tao' and some other members also very nice to us (me, mel, ben, earnie, desmond and jjguy). When i mentioned "Sam" to some pple around, they go like... huh? who? oh... Jiahan arh?... LOL this goes to sae that everything funcitons in chinese lol... even their service, camps n EVERYTHING! CoOl or...

Overall, the pple all very friendly, esp the girls, although abit siao siao 1 -.- Oh, btw while seating at this 3rd row bench... all the while i had tis weird feeling (not really dejavu but felt like 1), the girl infront damn familiar sia, the bei-ying and the voice oso lol. Then sam waz calling out "Tricia...smth smth smth". Yep, it is Tricia! Its either shes gone fat or i've grown tall, look quite diff from wad she was 20 months ago. She oso not sure if it was me... Wad a small world lol.

Ended the day with dinner at wm, charjiang mian nya!
Many pple said christians had bad rep for 'psychoing' pple to convert... well i wont agree to that. Some (esp teens) go church or 'convert' (wen they are not actually devoted) at their own will, to have fun with frens during dull weekends or maybe to go after a girl? So we think that its 'psycho-ed'... I think religion tis kinda ting is jus a belief... all religions pass 'good' teachings... to a much extent, cant say wads better, more 'cool', real or wadsoeva. Currently I'm a free thinker wich is a great thing...

Christian: Never for life, dads' gonna 'ka chia' me coz christians cant hold joss sticks, i heard
Muslim: No way! muslim need to pray, fast and everything... naturally not wad i'd love to spend time on

Hunduism: Am i elligible? but i wont.... those rituals require piercings... hell no!!!
Buddhism: Its said in my ID that im buddhism.. wth wrote that!?!? But i think its the closest to wad i'd go for....

Why? Lets see, Buddhism teachings are more... convincing? Real? Sensible? And it does not force u pray tis n that, praise tis n that... so its kinda free... pray if u wan to, buddha do not discrimintate those who do not pray or give offerings. If u pray, thats extra merit. So its more like u dun keep praying for some good ting or putting ur hopes on God, its more like... u knoe if ur doin the right ting, nth will screw up and Buddhas' teachings says the good shall be rewarded. This Karma thing sums up everything...

Its wednesday... jus got back from msia trip. Main objective is shufeng kor de wedding. My new tang sister-in-law looks so much like princess Leia from the star wars trilogy lol!!! We had lunch at a restaurant in muar on sunday afternoon. Total 6 tables...food was okeoke but heard the bill was over 1k, kinda bo hua, well... its the occasion that counts. I was kindof stand out among all the couzes coz of my long sleeve shirt. They sae i wear too formal liaoz... confirm not need to cover the bandage on my arm lo...

After that went to watch madagascar 2 with Ian kor family, leehom, suyi and bro. Movie was soso... how to sae eh? Suitable for sec schlers? coz if too young wont understand the language and if too old will sian diao. Not too much american humor but their accent very strong. Ian kor slept through and da shao kept grumbling it sux.The rest of us were fine coz there ARE funny parts budden storyline too kiddy. Anywaes, watched 'tian cai chong chong chong', pawned lawl! Taiwanese pple english suk'd, duno is fake or... budden really funny n entertaining. They quite creative too, the show really needs a gd host and n2 participants though.

The standard bfast at pagoh the next morning, had nasi lemak tis time instead of prata. Thats for branch i tink... it started to pour non-stop after that, damn sian... set off for kl at arnd 2+ reached at 4... initially 5shu told us to jus forget abt genting coz rain quite heavy, confirm very misty after that so dangerous to drive up hill... in the end still went la. Plan screwed le la... 1stly we set off late, 2ndly downpour -.- my 1st dae at genting themepark plan gone liao! Damn! Ended havin dinner at 5shu hse then as planned, off to genting.

Driving uphill sibei dangerous... thick mist/ cloud, wdv u call it... really really cant see la. 5shu kept saying: just look at the white lines and the 'light blocks' on the road surface... lawl! I cant see a shyt la! He drive so fast some more, freaking dangerous. Arrived safely, got 2 great rooms with 1 king size + a single bed... nice! All thanks to 5shu's gold card haha! The adults n bro went to casino. Leehom, yige n me went to roam arnd the indoor park.

Played some bowling and arcade and had supper at kfc. After everything... almost 12+ le, got back to room and bathe. For some reason dun feel sleepy so went to chill at starbucks till 3am. Sleeptime was... suyi snored! WTH? When i was almost in dreamland... suddenly got tis 'nose-block' sound then after awhile... GHONRRRR... -.-, its like i tio snapped out of some hypnotism spell, instead tio casted insomnia.

Freakin tired the nex morning... had the most expensive breakfast of my life... RM20 bak kut teh!!! Wadde!!! wuz shocked la... they nv state the px, onli knew wen paying at the cashier. Like wad dad said, they onli got 2 seasons/4-6 months to earn ur money, thats y ex too survive. Liddat i'd rather eat fast food lol, not that expensive, at most as ex as the fastfood in SG.

Nex up is the fun part. Coz we didnt visit the themepark due to time limit, decided to chiong the flying coaster which is not part of the 1day unlimited pass in the themepark. RM12 for 1 ride lawl! Leehom kept saying smth like... dun hav insurance, u die ur prob and stuffs liddat... ps me. Managed to pursuade them somehow and yes we're up on the flying coasted. Really a once in a life time experience and must try! Honestly, its my 1st time on such an outdoor/larger scale roller coaster. 1st time... jiu tis type of super intense de liao! It was fun, we yelled and 'hoarsed' our voices. Few secs onli budden damn damn damn shiok! esp the part wen its diving vertically downwards, will have the OBE effect lol!

Day at genting ended with a game of bowling and icecream at mac. Yige n Leehom played archery. Left at arnd 2+ and got to 5shu'd hse to rest. Played TFC with xixi and bro for awhile then left for dinner, met up with aunt, youyou and yongjie at tramcar. The restaurants' owned by... lets see... dad's couz? called him 3buo and his wife 3buomu... lol, thats wad my couzes address my mum n dad. Anywaes, had sizzling steak, nothing extraordinary but better than the 1 at jack's. The adults had rice n variety of dishes... wth... come here eat those kind of home-cooked food -.-, they happy can liao (at least the asam laksa fish was heavenly!)

Stayed over at Leehom's hse that nite. Knowing that yige would snore... planned to sleep earlier than him. Yes I did, budden bro n youyou waz talking n laughing loudly in the bedroom. Woken up n joined them lo. Talk lots of shyt, from NS life to sch, bgr and our own family. Knn, bro kept buggin me to get gf as though its a sin not to. How in the world u rush tis kind of ting, its all up to fate lo. Yige got bored n unknowingly he dozed off while we were chatting. It was 3am, that ends our bedtime chat session wen we realised the snoring was so loud that it buffered our voices.

Home sweet home the nex day. Had prata at Legend and set off for pagoh then finally SG. Sums up my short holidae at msia. Gonna go back again during dong zi which is arnd 20th dec? Heard they planning to go Cameron Highlands... Song bo!!! genting trip was crappy coz too little time for pure entertainment. Arms' healing fast thanks to leijie's so called 'flesh-restoring' gel lawl! She also helped me get some solution to clean the wound de. Lucky got her nia or else i'll suffer for the nex few daes with alcohol as the cleaning reagent. Lips very dry recently, probly too heaty, had to use lip balm to keep it moist...
Sigh... hope i can recover well, need to pick up on fitness le, been eating too much and doin nth!

08.08.08 at Sentosa

Well well well... nv blog for quite some time. This is for smth worth rmbring, outing at sentosa. Bob said that tis trip is kinda random, no proper planning, out of the blue during tbp lesson suggested it de.

Morning, was in sch for ndp celebration... the rtard ting is, every1's damn sian abt it, 1stly, now is olympic season lo, not alot would prefer chnl 5/8/U over those sports chnl. Then hor... ndp is like everyyear? olympics' 4 years! 2ndly, i wanna mug, so wont b watching ndp bah, same everyyear somemore. But tis year mayas' gonna go perform lol!

Talk abt the fun part in the after at sentosa. arrived at arnd 2-3pm? Went to some ulu beach... tanjong? at the Southeast. pee they all brought lots of food. Then thers volleyball and frisbee. Chose volleyball of course, more challenging and fun. Picked it up on monday pe lesson and bcame interested. Played for the whole afternoon till like6+pm. Lots of tings happened in between.

1. while playing as 1 big group... i tink it was aizen, who somehow hit the ball and got it on top of the tree. -.- spent like 30mins+ trying to get it down, 1st thow bottle, then climb tree, then lift neko up. finally, managed to find a long stick along the shore so we use get some1 to be lifted up again then use the stick to poke it down *clap clap* Other pple seem to b laughing at us lol.
2. We tried to use the so called "restaurant volleyball court". Bloodyhell, the manager/waiter like dun understand wad we were asking la, ls was damn pissed. i tink he jus wan us to move our bags somewer, coz its 'unsightly'.
3. Many other small funny tings that i cant rmb now...

Left the beach wen it gets dark. heng heng we got on the last tram! 10 of us went makan at vivo and the rest needa get back home early. damn damn tired, esp my foot! got home to watch the olympics opening replay and do usqueeze! Tired tired day, its the last till A levels liao. Studies all the way tml onwards :)

Been very lazy... seldom blog. Partly bcoz less internet access, then if got go on9 oso do serious business 1st...

Its finally durian season... erh... more like start of durian season for me. Went back to msia last weekend for gathering, grandma bday! After a "meat"ful dinner, got satay, curry chicken, roast chicken n pork... long waited durian time... was solving some general knowledge ting on the comp and waiting for some1 to mention abt 'kai liu lian' (open durian)... guess every1 sian of it liao... every nite eat of course sian la... but me... once per year lor. Itsa 1hr plus durian dessert buffet... just take any durian from the mountain pile, open then eat liao. Onli get to eat a few pieces T_T coz i somehow walked arnd, in the living room/porch, go talk kok n stuffs. like wad mum said, if u stand up n eat durian, dun tink of eating much. The pt is... u've to grab rite after its openned, even though got alot...

Sunday morning... bfast was... leftover satay and more chicken lol. It was whoomfgd hot that afternoon, iangor went to pluck some coconut for every1 to 'cool' down. Hanjie n me did a bad job in scraping the flesh out... thick layers... yongjie sae must thin layer by layer such that it floats in the pot of coconut... juice. Job sux man... so i volunteered to dispose the coconut shells/husks/wadeva instead

Got back to sg sibei late liao... coz of the retarded jam at link 2... link 2 lei! wth... pay so much still jam... msia ther jam can understand la... sg custom jam? wth is wrong man! wasted like 2 hrs la... doin nth, cannot mug somemore... so dark, mp3 bo batt, onli can play ds.

Today learn to open durian :)... In sch kept tinking of eating durian at nite, kinda cant take it so ate wen reached home. Dad's jus lazy to open the durian himself, then ask me to open... wen i've nv opened 1 b4. Actually very easy la, jus find the spilt... or pod... wadeva then slot the knife tip ther. Somehow 'split' it open then there u hav it!

Early in da morn met up with json n alfone at BB coz fone's mum willing to drive us over (YAY :D)

Wow 1: We arrived at around 9+? then join the queue for some security check... then tis indian officer come from behind, tell us (3 of us) to follow him... lawl, so its like we trailed and cut the queue, some cjc pple queueing sian diao, see us go infront of em :P... End up we quite early reach ther, place quite empty (Nice)

ChuanShuo 1: The nite b4, boss told us to keep a distance from the guy at the urine station or else he'll get pissed... indeed! Got 1 guy damn joker, he showed it rite infront of the officers' face. Then hes like... stand back! stand back! stand back! Ok... throw the... Hahah, boss is right abt that guy!

Wow 2: At the blood sample station, e medic attending to me wad quite nice, telling some stuff abt the stations. Then came tis pui guy... then he was like... jialat lor, confirm miss liao, hoho, si liao! the pui guy got the more senior 'medic'/ ol guy (he was also shaking head). haha... i tink is coz cannot find the veins lawl, then confirm miss alot of times.

ChuanShuo 2: Every1 who went b4 me saes the comp part sux... totally... its like sit ther click click... answering some duno if there's onli 1 ans de qns... spent 1hr+, the maths part cannot finish -.-

Wow 3: Arms feeling numb... and i mean armS... 1st time poke right arm then nex left arm coz the guy forgot need to take another sample, or issit i nv declare :P Anyway, total take 4 1/2 tubes of my blood! scared if these few days excercise the veins will 'bao' ... so better replenish and rest abit.

This concludes the checkup day... went to makan then go home :D

Today bro went to pluck his wisdom teeth... poor poor, like sibei pain, can eat onli liquid stuff, then doctor tell him to eat ice cream!!! wadde?! its actually to clot the blood or smth liddat. Last nite he still drive me out to mac for supper and told me lots abt checkup... I see why he wants smth nice to eat b4 tis morning's surgery. Anyway i think its great to be the 2nd child... better if its 2nd son... got some1 tell u beforehand smth u've to eventually go thru... even htough always get 2nd hand stuff but... still good :)

Hours ago... its Einsteins cradle from Pj! duno wer they come out with tis name for a science fair... but anyway its not that science fair ... coz 've seen something more interesting. Anyway, as a 'crew' or 'host' or wdv u call it... its helping instead of participating. Lots of stuff to see actually... after like 3 dry runs, all the booths are fully prepared for this dae i guess.

Me, ruien and sam in charge of the gears booth... part of the simple machines team. Actually suppose to b shuqing instead of sam... who psed but nvm... i tink the trip should b more worthwhle. The day was great... nv had such experience before, teaching someone something... interesting. Initially was explaining the car's motor part then later swope with sam to the bike... coz i tink it'll b easier for him... afterall he joined in last minute.

The kids... aiyoh... some very gd la, like it wen they nod with agreement... but some of those smug twerps... feel like jus insultin em... Are primary school kids getting smarter or issit me whos forgetting hows' pri sch like? they seem to know most basic stuffs... at p6? In the end hav to add in stuffs like the concept behind differentials and transmission to entertain them. Ruien most funny... got pawned since the 1st grp came... coz he explained the basic parts!

Learnt quite lotsa stuff from this event... theory... lol... read up alot on gears... n its really alot... including almost 50% on how car works.

Several things this week... 1stly, my comp crashed! Cant go online:( Its actually a gd thing coz can concentrate on studying. On the other hand, so many things to blog about yet i cant access the net. Well, its kinda difficult to trace back this weeks' events.

Thurs was Shir's bday! Went to eat @ Lot1... ordered some crayfish ramen -.- 1st time eat crayfish (its like a fatter prawn). The guys also went to get a bday cake for Shir from Bengawan Solo. So its Happy Birthday to Shirley! Then we were crapping all the way till 5pm. Pangpang was buggin msng for the pw results wen we didnt noe that its released the next day. Very happy day... coz mainly can get 1/2 the class together to eat and crap. To Shir... U're really different from last year... very socialable and friendly now, what made u changed? Or is this ur true self? Anyway, hope u like the class and will rmb ur 18th bday(pre) forever!

Its finally out! PW results! I got A... B! I think B's worth 7-8pts? Anyway, very happy liao! Was thinking it'd b C coz my portfolio bad n the wr was... PJ141 were reflecting that recess... Jin was unhappy coz of... aiyoh... Then didi was like his usual self, Mark was satisfied i tink. Fenru... same as me and think she's happy too! Budden wen we mention wr, she like quite sad coz the wr was a struggle, she stayed up late to finish it wif Jin. Me, didi and mark were Zzzing. Wah i felt so bad la! Wish i can see the op results for our grp to know if it really was WR that pull the marks down (hope its the portfolio) Also remind me of smth... why are teenage girls so niao abt doin the extra load of work... No offence but isnt it all fine if the work is done in the end? This remind me of The mc camp's case... Mayb i'm weird coz i prefer to solo projects (those i like, lol!) coz liddat can control the result i desire, in the end job's done can le.

Fridae evening, went bballing with the dudes then makan Botak Jones. Reached ther like 8pm+ and got our food like 9.30? Late dinner but enjoyed the crapping session while waiting. Basically the 1hr+ was like:

Ytd was... i dunno wad happended all day coz was sleeping like from like 1pm to 5pm and i woke up at 11am!!! Then go on to slp at 1am on Sundae morn... Zzz day.

Wah! Got few things happened today!!! And they're ALL interesting!!!

Ok...1stly, in the afternoon, my house is FLOODED!!! WhOMG!!! Flood? In an apartment? 2nd storey? Sunny day? Living room? LOL! Coz bros' stupid water tank got leak, in the end half the tank the water gone... to the living room floor! Its retarded coz we knew it onli like half the tank gone, dad was sleeping on sofa then i was walking over to wake him up... then zomg y the floor suddenly so reflectiv... Tada! flooded! Mom n me had to mop the floor, blast the fan to dry it.

2ndly, while doin some research on Einstein's Cradle... managed to dig out some fav old toys... LEGO!!! Hmmm, coz the topic is Gears for EC, then tink of using the LEGO technics to make display n demo... In the end up taking everyting out, 3 boxes, had to resort them: the flat, fat n slim bricks then the small small items. Thats not all, decided to build a ship :D Its done in a day! Abit weird coz of the colors coz limited bricks of same colors but design quite nice. Very fun coz its like... childhood stuff, alwez got dad to buy LEGO then aunt Olive will oso buy for me n bro. Haha, now got like alot liao then feel like building smth cool. Those LEGO got value de ok! Will definately pass it down to the next generation! LEGO is awonderful invention, helps people to tink creatively.

Lastly, played gb with ruien, jin, drew, xk and jj. Hack!!! LOL! Earned avrg 2k/game!!! COOL la!!! Its like every hit oso tio all the bonuses, regardless of whos turn oso can earn gold. Spam liao! Can earn gold like mad... but i'm not very into gb now... coz no time then wanna do many other tings. Ruien u ATM!

Thats all! Very fun day unlike the usual 'go school, eat, come home, slp' days... I hope all the holidaes got these kinda crazy stuff!!!

MC camp 08

Wee~~~finally the camp is here! After all the planning n preparation for weeks... Friday to Sat, 20 hrs camp.

Before that was A level result release... both happiness and sorrows, PJ results not bad actually, quite a number straight A's de. Congrats to J3s, LOL! felt sorry for those who didnt make it or results not as gd de, some were seen crying, i dun even dare to take photos la, scared they emo then come rip my cam apart. Hmmm, other imp tings include release of A's MT results, got B Merit!!! Yay! think quite gd le la, coz didnt expect better, rmb during the ppr, treat it like some exercise ppr la, didnt really do it seriously :P but here it is... B!

Moving on to the camp, hmmm, total turn up arnd 20... a third of J1s n rest J2s. Starting off, had intro then fun games which was rather successful and most of us get to know each other names, know but not familiar. Sihui very enthu, nice nice, shes like the drive to all the events, thanks da si jie! Well, had bbq after that and I think it was a total failure, mainly coz of the food, too much, ended up throwing em. Felt really really bad abt wasting those food... sigh~

The schedule changed quite abit, no more debrief due to the retarded bbq. After cleaning up, went to bathe then go up to chiill alil in at the 'bunk'. At arnd 2am, me n Haozhao still havin meeting n doin planning for tml, poor her, dun tink she very used to this kinda jobs... staying up late for the 1st time, then have to accept lots of changes. I'm really really sorry for that gal... Hope u understand; mayb can treat this as a trial coz dun tink u've experienced much difficulties in 'work'. Pls dun hate me coz i know u feel fustrated and sad at one time coz i sound abit bossy and demanding, sorry sorry sorry! On the other hand thanks Jes for being the negotiator, that 1 sentence did enlighten her.

Aside from emo stuffs, Day 2, everything went as planned, well... sort of... the 1st part. morning call for every1, i slept like 5mins? Me n Haozhao went all over the sch to set up stations. Then at arnd 9 start the race... Here i shall evaluate each station

1) Human Twister
Was quite successful, the game was simple in the 1st place i tink, anyway hope every1 loves that game... originated from Negi Magi Magister!
2) Mentos wadeva
Supposed to be very simple game, blindfolds and tied legs, bowl of flour and bucket of coins. Only miscalculation is the pepper part... So sorry to all participations... didnt think the pepper cause so much discomfort. Its my idea! My Fault!
3) 3D Spiderweb
This started out to be horizontal web, last minute jus came out with this. Quite challenging i guess, like goin through a infra-red field... nth to evaluate on this.

Lastly, its water games, not really considered a station, mayb a final showdown? Start off with attack or block, abit way off from wad is planned, these people arh... as though must wet some1 then happy, they jus kept moving! Anyway, i was like 40% during tis game, and like getting to the end, 100% wet... Those J2s... Tady(particularly, must get me at all cost), Mai n Sihui... i guess nvm la, since they help set the mood, i cant possibly be pissed off. To get the programs running, proceed on to water bomb! Nth to sae, bombs away! Joined in the fun too, so so very fun that I forgot the time :P Ended like 12+. Had debrief then break camp.

Got bro to pick me up after leaving sch coz was totally beat... although no other casualties, my specs had, got chipped off coz off Guihao's attck, nvm i guess, accidents happen and its not like it'll affect me much. Got home straight away slp then only woke up for dinner...

More importantly, things that i learn through the camp. Being a leader is really not easy, esp when u need to earn respect and trust. Lucky the J1s very steady and also the J2s, quite cooperative. But i'm really really curious to know about every1s honest thoughts abt my performance as camp OIC, anything bad, crappy, shytty, Just tell me! Abt Haozhao's case, think that i'm mostly at fault, didnt put myself into your situation and duno u r so fragile and easily panicked. I'm too much concerned with getting the camp perfect... my bad, i'll rmb this lesson forever: to be in some1 else's shoes. Lastly, I'm glad that i had another perfect memory in PJ as a student, the fun times and people, thank you all of u for making my college dream come true!

Very surprised about something mum mentioned weeks ago... n i've been keeping it in mind. Through daily life and observations, jus wanna see if its true.

Back in Indo during the Holidaes, mum read an article on the papers, saw this intersting article on some fortune telling based on birth dates n time... then see which category are u in... Anyway, 1 day, she told me to take care, do more charity work coz she see me under the category of the emperors' ankle... thats like the lowest and worst? Highest being the head. The bad thing is followed by the elaboration. Being born at the ankle: work hard all ur life, must live and work far away from home, will marry twice and only had better life at old age... Wah, was abit affected although dun really believe it. The part on work hard all my life is like so... sad then marry twice, i wouldn't wan that too! So after that, jus ban xin ban yi. Then my mum jus sae do more charity work jus in case. Then during jan to feb i keep using this excuse to tell dad abt letting me drop JC then go overseas coz i'm supposed to work far from home!

Anyway, jus near cny wen mum brought up this topic to the aunts... she suddenly felt the need to recheck my birthcert... So, there she goes... went to check... the final result is... Not that bad! Her mistake! I'm born on the shoulder! Thats probly like the 2nd best! Song bo! LOL! She dug out that article again then read the description to me... wealthy throughout your life, good life from middle age onwards, filial decendents, feng yi zhu shi and have received help from frens n siblings! ALL Positive! Come to think of it... its so very true? i've nv actually frown over food or clothes... wealth so so and my bro cared alot for me even though he doesnt show it much. Since its so far from ankle, no need to seperate from family! No need to bia like mad! And... Happy family i shall hav, one happy and lasting marriage foreva!

Somehow I felt like believing in this fortune telling thing coz its telling gd stuffs abt my future :P Its becoming a confidence booster for me as it just keeps reminding me that 'My 'ming' is set to be quite positive and its up to myself to strive for it!' It's actually not gd to believe too much on these kinda fortune telling stuff budden y not use it as an encouragement... like u wanna work harder and not givin up so that u can achieve wad is predicted. arh~~ its kinda late now that i posted this (mayb early?). 1st up, main event of the dae... the long waited Transformers!!! Went to watch it todae! Heavens! its damn nice mayb a 4.5 star for graphics???I tink its so far the best movie i've watched this year. Starscream is so cool man, it jus cant get off my mind since dinner. The battle part makes me kinda military freakish now. Anywae, went with bunch of frens: roge,rome, boss, json, chew, wy, askae n lee. Thank lee for getting the tickets!\^-^/Banzai!!!. Dinner was at yashinoya with roge n lee, the rest waz at pastamania... lol for json eating fried rice ther???

Got home after that with some supper. I kinda forgot to take 1 round of medcince... jus ignored it btwz. After aunt left, i was infront of the comp watchin dramas n playing ds... Reminds me again of Transformers, my phone and ds changing... creepy~~.
